Michael Nieset is an advisor to Xfund. He is currently a second-year MBA student at MIT Sloan, where he specializes in Entrepreneurship & Innovation and serves as Co-President of the Entrepreneurship Club.

He is currently cofounding his own startup in the Consumer Tech space. In addition to pursuing his own venture, Michael is the founder of Momentum, a student-run summer accelerator program for MIT-affiliated startups that featured over 40 MIT startups in its inaugural cohort in Summer 2022.

Prior to MIT Sloan, Michael worked as a Product Manager at KeyBank where he focused on improving customer experience and promoting the financial wellness of millions of consumers. Michael graduated Summa Cum Laude from Ohio State University with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration specializing in Finance with a Minor in Computer and Information Science. He enjoys Ohio State football, weightlifting, all things gaming, and is obsessed with his family Samoyeds.
