PRAT MALLICK

Prat Mallick is a Principal at Xfund, based in the firm’s Cambridge office in Harvard Square. Prior to joining Xfund, he served as President and Vice President of the Harvard Institute of Politics, Harvard’s largest student organization with over 1,200 undergraduate members. During his tenure, Prat led the IOP's 16 programs and helped host conversations with leaders from President Joe Biden and President Volodymyr Zelensky to Senator Tim Scott and Vice President Mike Pence. In addition to supporting the organization's strategic growth, Prat founded the IOP Governance Lab, an incubator for early-stage ventures at the intersection of government and technology.

He has previously worked on several early-stage startups, General Catalyst, the Boston Consulting Group, the Responsible Innovation Labs, and Rough Draft Ventures. Outside of Xfund, Prat serves on the Senior Committee for the Phillips Brooks House Association, the FAS Standing Committee on Public Service, and as an Ambassador for the Harvard Alumni Association.
