Nikhil Jain

President, Stanford Healthcare Innovation

Nikhil Jain is a healthcare, technology, and life sciences operator with experience spanning global public health, computational biology, and venture-backed innovation. He is currently an MBA candidate at Stanford Graduate School of Business, where he serves as President of Stanford Healthcare Innovation, the school’s largest graduate healthcare community.

Prior to Stanford, Nikhil was a Machine Learning and Computational Biology Researcher at the Milner Therapeutics Institute at the University of Cambridge, where he developed multi-omics and network-based machine learning pipelines for oncology drug discovery and clinical target identification. His work focused on translating complex biological data into actionable therapeutic insights, particularly in prostate cancer research.

Earlier in his career, Nikhil worked at the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria, supporting strategy and performance delivery initiatives within the Office of the Executive Director, helping deploy and optimize billions in global health funding. He also brings experience from management consulting at Boston Consulting Group and from life sciences partnerships at early-stage health tech companies focused on pharma and medtech commercialization.

Nikhil is a Schwarzman Scholar, having completed a master’s degree in Management Science and Global Affairs at Tsinghua University, where he studied global healthcare systems and China’s role in biotechnology and innovation. He holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Duke University.
